Rachelle graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore and from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. She has obtained full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council. Her work experiences include providing therapy intervention in mainstream preschools, Early Intervention Programme Integrated Centre (EIPIC), and a special school in Singapore.
Her clinical experience has seen her working with children diagnosed with various developmental and learning disabilities. These include the diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Down syndrome, visual and hearing impairment.
Rachelle is a strong advocate for family-centred approach in therapy intervention. She believes that through effective collaboration with parents, optimal outcome for the child’s development can be achieved. She also recognizes the importance of socio-emotional development in the children, especially in their early years, and always strives to incorporate functional strategies that can be generalized across different settings.
Outside work, Rachelle enjoys travelling, coffee, and people watching with her husband.
