Niamh obtained her BCs (Hons) degree in Occupational Therapy from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). She is a registered occupational therapist with the CORU in Ireland and AHPC in Singapore. Niamh’s professional occupational therapy experience includes working in a Singapore government hospital for over 1 year. This opportunity allowed Niamh to work closely with elderly clients and develop their independence in completing everyday tasks after an illness or injury.
Whilst completing her undergraduate degree in occupational therapy, Niamh spent her weekends working in a respite centre for children with special needs. These two years allowed Niamh to work positively and constructively with service users and be involved in planning and implementing specific individualized approaches and programmes designed for these service users. During university, Niamh completed an eleven week student occupational therapy placement in early intervention services which really sparked her interest in pediatric occupational therapy.
Niamh is excited to empower her clients to surpass their own personal best and help them through their obstacles.
