Wanda is a registered Speech and Language Therapist in Singapore. She also holds a degree in Psychology and is a registered member of the British Psychological Society.
Wanda was born in Jakarta but has lived in Singapore, Australia, and the UK for both studies and work. She is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Wanda has always been passionate about children. Prior to becoming a Speech and Language Therapist, Wanda was a behavioural therapist and shadow teacher for children with autism. In various capacities, she has experienced working with the paediatric population in different settings such as preschools, primary schools, private clinics, home therapies, and hospitals.
Wanda eagerly continues to develop her professional skills as a Speech and Language Therapist. She is trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Hanen: It Takes Two to Talk, Hanen: More than Words, Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), and the PROMPT Technique.
Understanding that each child is unique, Wanda tries her best to tailor her sessions to meet the needs of every client. This ranges from working with other professionals to involving parents in therapy, and ensuring that the most supportive environment is created for the children she sees. She believes that therapy should be fun and engaging for children to reach their fullest potential.
