Behaviour Therapist (ABA)

The Role:

1. Conduct 1-1 or group therapy sessions in various settings, centre-based, school-based, and/or home-based sessions as allocated.
2. Implement individualized ABA treatment plans with supervision.
3. Utilize ABA behavioural therapy techniques to target and reinforce positive behaviour.
4. Collect and record data on client progress and behavior during sessions.
5. Perform school shadow as and when required.
6. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support client goals.
7. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to review client progress and update treatment plans.
8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress reports.
9. Provide feedback and guidance to English and Mandarin speaking clients and their families to reinforce positive behavior changes.

Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s degree psychology or related field.
2. Prior experience working with children with autism and other developmental needs.
3. Possess a creative, fun-loving and energetic disposition to engage, play and interact with children.
4. Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
5. Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
