Occupational Therapists

Dorcas is an experienced Occupational Therapist who graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). She has a strong passion for paediatrics and specialises in supporting neurodiverse children and children presenting with complex developmental needs. Prior to joining Dynamics Therapy, Dorcas balanced a diverse senior role in private pediatric practice across clinic, home, community, and the education sector in Melbourne. She also has experience working at a local international school in Singapore. 

Dorcas takes a creative and fun approach to help children grow to their full potential. She is also a strong advocate for evidence-based practice and is committed to working collaboratively with families, using a holistic approach to support each child’s development. Her dedication to the profession was further recognised when she received the ‘Rising Star Award’ in 2021.

She has completed a range of professional development, such as Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP) Approach, Learn to Play Therapy, Mobility and Accessibility for Children in Australia (MACA), and mealtimes and fussy eating program. 

Outside of Dynamics, Dorcas enjoys doing arts and crafts, cooking, and being immersed in nature.
