Sharon Chen is a fully registered Occupational Therapist (AHPC, Singapore) with over 12 years of clinical experience. Sharon’s extensive expertise supporting children with developmental, sensory, and motor challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, global developmental delays, dyspraxia, handwriting difficulties, and child with emotional regulation needs.
Sharon believes that every child has the capacity to shine. With the right support, encouragement, and guidance, they can discover their strengths and achieve meaningful growth. As an occupational therapist, her role is not only to help children overcome challenges but also to empower them to recognise their own abilities and potential.
Her paediatric practice spans across private clinics, international schools, early intervention programmes (EIPIC), and home-based therapy. Sharon is trained in evidence-based approaches such as Ayres Sensory Integration, DIR Floortime, Therapeutic Listening, and Learning Without Tears. She collaborates closely with families and educators to deliver personalised, goal-oriented interventions that promote children’s participation and independence across home, school, and community settings.
