Dr Amrit believes that therapy is a journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth. She strives to create a safe and compassionate space where individuals can explore their emotions, gain clarity, and reconnect with a sense of peace and purpose. Her approach is gentle, yet insightful helping clients uncover the roots of their struggles and empowering them to make meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Her professional journey began in the United States, where she pursued her PhD in Clinical Psychology in the mid-2000s. Since then, she has had the privilege of working in both public and private settings across Michigan, New Zealand, and Singapore, supporting clients from a wide range of cultural and life backgrounds.

Dr Amrit’s primary therapeutic orientation is short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy, a method that seeks to uncover and understand the deeper emotional patterns that shape our inner lives and relationships.

She also integrates techniques from Somatic Experiencing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based modalities to support holistic and lasting change.

At its heart, her work is about decoding the hidden language of emotions, understanding how our past and present relationships influence us, and fostering meaningful transformation that brings greater ease, authenticity, and emotional well-being in daily life.
