Speech Therapists

Danica is a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate in helping children discover their unique ways of communicating and connecting with the people around them. She brings a breadth of experience across private practice and the social service sector, including early intervention programmes, mainstream preschools and special education schools, enabling her to provide holistic and individualized support for each child.

Through her years of experience, Danica has worked with children (ages 0 to 16) with a wide range of medical and developmental profiles, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Language Delay and Hearing Loss. She has extensive experience in supporting children with speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication challenges, feeding difficulties, and those who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication.

Danica adopts a play-based and child-directed approach to therapy, creating sessions that are engaging, purposeful, and aligned with each child’s interests and strengths. She strongly believes in working collaboratively with parents and educators, partnering with them to ensure that strategies are consistent, practical and meaningful across home and school environments.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Danica is also skilled in providing supervision support for students on clinical placement, as well as junior speech and language therapists. She finds great fulfilment in guiding them as they build their skills and grow in confidence as clinicians.
