Wan Ying graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Psychology and Social Work. She has experience working with children and youths with and without special needs through her internships and work at a Children’s Home. Aside from the interactions with the students, she enjoyed developing innovative and fun teaching resources that are suitable for students’ learning during her internship at a Special Education School.

She believes that individuals with special needs can reach their full potential through (i) individualised support that caters to their unique needs and capabilities, and through a (ii) collaborative approach between the various stakeholders. Hence, she would like to be a part of their journey because she believes that there is much to learn from them.
