Shermin graduated from the Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Psychology. Since university, she has taken up multiple opportunities to work with children with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and other developmental delays in group settings.
Prior to joining Dynamics, Shermin was an Early Interventionist in a private inclusive preschool where she focused on bridging students’ developmental gaps in 6 key areas (Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Adaptive, Cognitive, Social, and Socio-Communication). She incorporated her creative and artistic interests in lessons to offer a fun and imaginative learning experience. To encourage consistent intervention in various social settings, she worked closely with preschool teachers and parents by exploring teaching strategies and materials to better engage children with learning difficulties.
Fuelled with a passion to bring out the unique spark in each child, she believes that every child deserves to be given the opportunity and resources to reach their fullest potential. She strives to create a safe and positive space where children can participate actively and confidently while scaffolding challenges to push learning boundaries.
