Nicole is a registered Speech Language Pathologist who graduated with her Master of Arts Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida (United States of America). Her professional portfolio includes extensive experience working with both children and adults of varying speech, language, and swallowing abilities across a variety of settings. She is committed to helping her clients maximize their functional skills and quality of life through her role as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Nicole gained valuable experience with adults in the medical subacute rehabilitation sector, where her skills focused on helping patients to overcome feeding and swallowing disorders, cognitive-linguistic deficits, aphasia, dysarthria, and voice disorders. She has helped patients successfully wean off tube feeding, rehabilitate neurocognitive deficits, and continue with progress and safety post therapy through caregiver training and appropriate strategies.

Prior to working with adults, Nicole dedicated her clinical time to working with pediatrics in the education setting, supporting her clients both in class and supplementally through extended school year (ESY) programs to help them maintain carryover of skill progress. Nicole has additional clinical experience working with pediatrics in early intervention and private practice. She has worked with pediatrics of varying abilities, some of which include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Angelman’s Syndrome, Developmental Delay, Speech Sound Disorders, Language Disorders, Dysfluency, ADHD, Selective Mutism, Oral Motor deficits, and others.

Nicole understands that all clients have individual needs, abilities, motivators, and therefore utilizes a client-centered approach.  She believes collaboration, education, and open communication with family/caregivers are integral in guiding client-specific care plans, supporting clients through their therapy journey, and to the success of the client. Nicole loves seeing her clients gain confidence as their skills improve.

Nicole is skilled in conducting proper assessments and providing effective evidence-based treatment interventions across a variety of speech and language skills including speech sounds, language, fluency (stuttering), pragmatics, feeding/swallowing, AAC, voice, and oral motor. She is dedicated to her clients and will strive to provide comprehensive and effective intervention services for all her clients.
